Yes Man and Bedtime Stories review

Bedtime Stories (2008)

An adventure comedy starring Adam Sandler as Skeeter Bronson, a hotel handyman whose life is changed forever when the bedtime stories he tells his niece and nephew start to mysteriously come true. He attempts to take advantage of the phenomenon, incorporating his own aspirations into one outlandish tale after another, but it's the kids' unexpected contributions that turn Skeeter's life upside down.

So there I was lining up to get tickets for this movie out of a spontaneous decision with my girlfriend, We actually wanted to watch Yes Man but the cinema wasn't showing that movie yet, so we decided to watch this movie. First of all I did not expect much from this besides since it was a Walt Disney movie, I expected some cheesy lines and kiddy moments. But once the movie started I was thoroughly entertained till the movie ended. Adam Sandler was doing what he does best. Being a douche and goofy at the same time

This is definitely a "must see movie". Ryan gives the movie an 8 out of 10

Oh and the ending song used was awesome

Right,on to the next review :

Yes Man (2008)

Jim Carrey stars as Carl Allen, a guy whose life is going nowhere—the operative word being “no”—until he signs up for a self-help program based on one simple covenant: say yes to everything…and anything. Unleashing the power of “YES” begins to transform Carl’s life in amazing and unexpected ways, getting him promoted at work and opening the door to a new romance. But his willingness to embrace every opportunity might just become too much of a good thing.

The first thing you noticed about this movie is that Jim Carrey has gotten old, really old. The beginning of the movie is draggy and boring but I think that is what the producers are aiming for, Basically Jim Carrey just blows everyone and everything away from his life, preferring solitude. But right after he signs up for the self-help program, well I don't want to ruin the movie for you but let's just say shit hits the fan. Initially I would have thought this was an updated version of Jim Carrey's 1997 movie "Liar Liar" but I was wrong again, this time he actually has a choice but thinks he doesn't.

My favorite scene, Jim rescues a suicidal man. Hilarity ensues, IMO the song he used was perfect. A few months before this movie was up I was actually listening to it with Yuki in my car on the radio and he mentioned that the lyrics was meaningful, didn't really look it up till I watched it.

I predict many people following the "Yes" trend after they watch this movie. So hopefully I can take advantage of this situation to entertain myself

Another recommended movie. I'll give it a 9 out of 10, -1 for Jim Carrey looking old.

OMG is Jim Carrey hilarious in this movie.

I was going to take my young kids to see this movie because the tv commercials looked so good. Luckily I decided to see it online first .. it's definately not for 10-year olds!

Take my advice and check it out first if you have kids. I was able to watch yes man online first.

In fact, I watch movies at that site all the time.

But the movie is great for adults.
