Have heard of this place from a few friends for their famous colourful "Xiao Long Baos" not wanting to miss a chance to try out something unique, I accepted their invitation for a tasting session.

Located at Paradigm Mall, on the 1st floor of the mall, it's hard to miss this place due to it's open kitchen concept with the chefs showing off their "La Mian" pulling skills, though looks easy, we were assured that it takes the right amount of pulling to make it into the ideal 'chewy'ness and thickness.
Paradise Dynasty is the first of it's kind to reach Malaysia. Originating from Singapore, the establishment have expanded to several countries such as Thailand and The Philippines.
The interior decoration of the establishment, there was also a stream of water running at the sides of the tables in the middle, giving the whole place a 'zen' feel to it

Signature Dynasty Xiao Long Bao (8 flavours) Rm 23.80
Our first dish, the popular colourful "Xiao Long Bao". Did you know each color is actually a different flavour?
The orange one is Crab Roe, the pink one being Sze Chuan (which is spicy), Brown being Garlic, The light brownish one is Foie Gras, Black has Truffles in it, Yellow is Cheesy, the light green one is Ginseng flavored and the white in the middle is the Original flavor. RECOMMENDED DISH

Chilled Assorted Eggs Loaf Rm 12.80
Made with a combination of three different eggs. Salted Eggs, Century Eggs and normal Eggs. And served cold, this dish is perfect as a starter dish that opens your appetite. Although I don't normally take century eggs. This dish will be an exception

Marinated Jelly Fish with Vinaigrette Rm 13.80
Another dish that was served cold, the jelly fish has a crunchy texture.

Yet another cold dish, the chicken is marinated with "Shao Tsing" wine before being cooked. You can taste the wine with each piece of the chicken. I wonder if they had any customers who got tipsy after consuming a fair amount of this dish?

Radish Pastry Rm 7.80
A very popular dish in the restaurant. The radish filling reminds me of "Popiahs"somehow except with a soft pastry skin on the outside instead.

Pan Fried Pork Dumpling Rm 7.80
Loved this dish, the dish is first steamed like an ordinary dumpling and then put on a pan and it's underneath is fried to a golden crisp before serving. RECOMMENDED DISH

La Mien with Dried Shrimp and Scallion Rm 12
One of the staple dishes of Paradise Dynasty the "La Mien" is perfectly done and catered to the Malaysian taste buds as they did get some feedback on their first few runs.
La Mien in Hot and Sour Soup Rm 13.80
A hot & spicy variation of the "La Mien", the soup gives a sour and spicy feel to it along with a generous amounts of tofu in it.
Chilled Cucumber in Garlic Vinaigrette Rm 8.80
This was something unexpected as I couldn't believe that they had a cucumber only dish on their menu. At first I was sure it was just sliced cucumber but after the first bite I was hooked on it, the Garlic Vinaigrette blended perfectly with the cucumbers. RECOMMENDED DISH

Pork Dumpling with Chili Sauce Rm 11.80

Really liked the spicyness of this dish. The chicken is deep fried with an assortment of spicy ingredients such as dried chilli and black pepper. I tried biting the black pepper on it's own and let me tell you that you WILL feel your tongue going numb a few seconds later. Best served with rice or as a snack whilst having a beer.
Scrambled Egg White with Fish and Dried Scallop Rm 20
A dish with a story behind it, the story is back in the dynasty period(IIRC) the emperor wanted to have crabs but it was during the winter season where there was absolutely no way to obtain crabs. But being the emperor of china, he demanded that his top chef make him some crabs or else beheading would be done to him and his family.
So choosing to keep his head, the chef created a dish made with only eggs, fish and dried scallops that tasted like crab meat. The secret was the scrambling technique used during, scallops and fish were used to give it the 'seafood' smell. And eventually the chef got to keep his head.

Chilled Mango Pudding Rm 8
Mango isn't one of my favorite dessert kind of fruit but it is really sweet and thick with a creamy finish.
Souffle Egg White Balls stuffed with Red Bean and Banana Rm 8
Pan-fried Pumpkin Pastry Rm 6.90
My favorite dessert dish, the pan fried pumpkin tasted really nice with it's icing sugar finish. But unfortunately I could only have a piece as I was filled to the brim at this stage. RECOMMENDED DISH

A group shot of all the bloggers.
I would definitely come back to this place in near future for a meal or two and I'd recommended that you do so too! But make sure to go on a weekday as the place is always packed on weekends
