Carlsberg brings Oktoberfest to town this October! / Oktoberfest Media Launch @ Pavilion

2013-09-26 20.01.49

Ah October is finally here, it's one of my favorite month of the year, mainly because Halloween is coming and I have an outfit already and can't wait to put it on. Just check out my costumes last year : here and there

Another reason is because OKTOBERFEST is here! An annual tradition by the Germans, which is known as the world's largest fair held originally in Munich Germany. But for those who can't fly over to Germany, for the 2nd year in the running Carlsberg Malaysia is holding it's own authentic OKTOBERFEST throughout the big cities and small towns in Malaysia, with an endless flow of beer and fun!

The first party was officiated by Carlsberg  alaysia at Pavilion last thursday. So happens yours truly was honored to be part of the event. Though the 'real' OKTOBERFEST will actually be held at the Old Wing outdoor car park of 1-Utama Shopping center, just like last year. Which will be on the 11th till the 13th of October.

All pictures* were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S4 that night as I've forgotten to bring my Camera out that night.
(*Except the ones that belong to Samuel)

These parties will come complete with the collectible beer stein (pictured above), as well as authentic Oom Pa Pah band, a record breaking 12-foot long horn, Carlsberg  Dirndl girls as well as plenty of games and online contests where beer lovers stand a chance to take home more collectible premiums.

Before the event me and the girlfriend went to Q Hair Works to get our hair done before the event
