This morning I was rudely awakened by a call, it was from Jackie reminding of the street shoot, initially I wanted to ignore the call and continue on with my beauty sleep but I decided against my better judgement.
This was my 2nd attempt in dabbling with street photography, first being last week at Jalan Pasar Pudu. One thing I like about street photography is that there's no rules on what to take or not to (unless the person you are shooting objects to it), it's all free form. It's also a platform for me to experiment. As the result of today's shoot, I've picked out a few tips and tricks that I could apply to my future shoots.
Here's a few highlight photos from the shoot this morning (For more photos of the shoot you can click on the link below for the full album on my Flickr account ) :
All pictures in this post were taken with the Sony NEX-5T paired with Carl Zeiss 24mm f/1.8 lens
The first meal of the day, Kin Kin Pan Mee.
A portrait attempt of a stranger whom was friendly enough to get a shot taken, to approach the stranger itself takes soft skills and boldness in my opinion, I've been rejected a couple of times.
There's something about old worn out things that appeal to me whenever I snap pictures
