Last Friday was spent partying down at Prodigy KL. It's been a while since I've gone to one. By a while I meant since March. For the uninitiated Prodigy KL is where The Butter Factory used to be and it's been thru an overhaul with a brand new name.
Filth Fortune Featuring EDZ @ Prodigy KL

Opening Hours : 10pm - 3am Weds to Sunday

The night was called Filth Fortune and it's main draw is it's filthy beats, bass lines and a fist pumping experience, the DJ responsible for this is their resident DJ, EDZ. Playing the best of EDM and mixing it up with the top of the chart hits. So if you're looking for a place to party at the end of the week, look no further!
Accompanying me that night is the Samsung NX Mini which is much easier to conceal compared to the NEX-5T which I'm usually accustomed to with speed light attachment
Saw this little decor at the entrance of the Club, which looked classy as hell with the green backdrop and the white furnitures
We got tables right next to the DJ Console which gave us an excellent view of EDZ while he was spinning.
With Lisa Chow. Don't really remember the last time we were at the same club together. Taken with Aperture Priority at and Flash mode (Fill-in settings with -1 bias or whatever it's called)
With Hilda Milda, which is a rare sight in these type of settings. Her usual habitats consists of food outings and feminine products for the skin. Also taken with Aperture Priority Mode with Aperture set to 3.5 and Flash Mode on.
I was getting a little bit bored with the photos that turned out that night so I decided to step it up a notch with Manual Settings to put some fun in the photos.
The common misconception about taking club photos I had a while back was that one would need a fast shutter speed coupled with a strong flash to get good photos but that's not always the case. All photos below were taken in Manual Mode with an aperture of F3.5 and a shutter speed of 0.4 of a second to 0.6 of a second.
Of course this wasn't my first time playing with these type of shots : http://www.duckalot.com/2012/10/elevate-kuantan-feat-dj-mari-ferrari.html
which was shot with the Fujifilm F200 EXR which was my first point and shoot camera.
With Zana Banana. The funky trail lights do make the photo look a little bit more fun
A group of guys who seemed to be having a ton of fun at the front of the stage
A shot of the stage from the table
Definitely had a good time that night and couldn't help myself with the Chivas Regal 12. But of course I drank within my limits. If you're looking for a good time, bring some friends over to Prodigy KL and you might just catch Mr Fluff in action. But if you can't, do check out his music :
